Clown's theatre Choodiki is a fusion of circus and theatre, danse and mime, art of physical comedy and comedy of situation. It is rooted in the unique European theatrical style.

Theatre has a large experience in working on different stages of following countries: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, United States and Canada. Choodiki took part in many festivals as "Mir Caravan" (St-Petersburg), "Non-Stop" (Moscow) "Stars of Black, White and Red Clowning" (Uzhgorod) Premiers" (Chelyabinsk) "Fringe Festival" (Montreal, Ottawa, Chicago) . Choodiki has also appeared on the circus arena in Alma-Ata.



During the years in Moscow, Choodiki has performed on totally different kind of stages from "Metelica/Blizzard" & "Arlekino" night clubs, Casinos and Cruises to the "The Kremlin Palace of Congresses" and State Concert Hall "Rossia" and in the following theatres as "Obrascov Puppet Theatre" and Tereza Dourova's Clown's theatre.

Once established in Montreal, Grigoriy Mironov created Choodiki's new show entitled "Comic Cocktail" where four clowns working on the stage bring the audience into a universe of laughter and fantasy, cuts through the barriers of language and culture with the art of universal language of clowning.`

Clown Theatre "Choodiki" History in date order :

1988 - Grigoriy Mironov created a comic clown theatre group named "Sintez - Buff."

1989 - Participation in the Festival "Mir Caravan" of Slava Polunin in St-Petersburg, Russia.

1991 - Fool's Academie of Slava Polunin in Moscow, Russia.

1991 - 1995 Sintez - Buff"s tour in Russia (Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Norilsk, Moscow, Omsk), in Kazakhstan (Alma-Ata, Astana, Kustonay) and in Ukraine (Kiev, Uzhgorod, Dnepropetrovsk).

1995 - Comic clown group "Sintez - Buff" changed their name to "Choodiki" and moved to work in clown's theatre of Thereza Durova (Moscow, Russia).

1996 - Fringe Festival (Chicago, USA).

1997 - Show program on a cruise ship (Odessa, Ukraine; Athena, Greece; Naples & Roma, Italia;

Barcelona, Valencia, Spain; Porto, Portugal ).

2002 - Choodiki established in Canada ( Montreal, Quebec).

2002 - 2009 Tours of the Clown Theatre "Choodiki " in Ottawa, Alumini Theatre; in Quebec, Auditorium Joseph-Lavergne; in Montreal, Theatre Outremont,Maison de la culture CТte-des-Neiges,

Maison de la culture Frontenac, Theatre Mirella and Lino Saputo, Maison de la culture Ahuntsic -Cartierville, Salle Desilets du cegep Marie-Victorin, Maison de la culture Villeray,Auditorium le Prevost, Maison de la culture Park-Extension, Salle de spectacle du college Brebeuf, Clown Cabaret in Bain Mathieu.
